  • In KIT mode, when KEYBOARD is on, all KIT sounds in a mpc-like grid.

    so to combine both ideas, the Keyboard button could be pressed repeatedly to switch between MPC-like grid (one pad = one sound at adjustable velocity) and the second mode in which columns are sounds and rows are velocites

  • shortcut 1.0 removal

    I think what they're trying to say is that the shortcut names physically printed on old Deluge units are different than on new Deluges, that's why the option exists in the menu. If it doesn't cause any issues or somehow decrease performance (which I doubt), it's better to leave it there. Also, every removal of a feature is a code change nonetheless - it might introduce new unexpected bugs as well.
