how do I copy my songs to my computer? I've tried but they are all xml file, computer won't do it

Which format do you expect?
If you like to have wav files, you have to record your song. Then you find your Song in the Resample Folder.

The media collection feature is just for transferring songs from one Deluge to another or just creating backups easily.
