Headphone jack power

in Deluge Help

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Deluge's headphone jack provides sufficient power to drive a pair of Sennheiser HD 6xx headphones or equivalent?

    Working fine here with beyer dt770 and dt990 phones @ 250 ohms

    I have the DT990 250 ohms and while it drives them reasonably I am thinking with a headphone amp you might be able to get more detail at lower volumes.

    I'm considering getting one of these headsets:

    1. Beyerdynamic DT 700 ProX 48 ohm
    2. Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 80 ohm
    3. Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 250 ohm

    I know that power won't be a concern at 48 ohms (A).

    But will Deluge provide enough power for 80 ohms (B) and 250 ohms (C) without a headphone amplifier?

    Is there a significant difference in sound quality/experience between 80 ohms and 250 ohms?
