Q/Help: Copy track but still play at same time (group) - don't put in a new group

0

Hello,

I will often slice, dice, and restacking segments of samples. In this case I've sliced up a drum kit. Now I want to copy that kit without creating a new group for it to play in. I simply want to copy that track and have them "stack and play" together.

Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brett

I thought I answered my own question

    I did this:
    Go into song mode
Shift + Srlection pad until colors match

This now auto set them to flip or be muted when the other is selected.

Any thoughts here would be helpful.

The Deluge won't let you play multiple tracks (clips) with the same synth or kit at the same time. A workaround is to re-save the kit into a separate kit slot (e.g., 45 and 45A) and have tracks (clips) you want to be able to play together use these separate kits.

Cool - thank you for the information. I'll give that a try.

I was also thinking about how I could do the stacking in the same kit. Could I load the same sample into a second track in a kit?

    Thanks,
    Brett
