Deluge sampler for melodic keyboard mapped samples (multisamples)? - ANSWERED

Say I have chromatic samples of e.g. a music box that I want to play melodically.

  • Does the Deluge sampler allow for keyboard mapping these (i.e. playing a specific sample for a specific note in the scale, rather than timestretching)?
  • What is the suggested/supported way of accomplishing this on the Deluge?
  • Would this be a "kit"?
  • If it's a kit, can this be played chromatically on the pad interface?
