Midian: Xml to Midi only works with Old Firmware - Any Solution?

ahoi,
good old midian seems only to work with old firmware-files.

  • if i try an xml-file done in 2.1.2 XML to MIDI works ...
  • if i try that same file, modified with firmwareVersion="4.1.3" it doesn´t convert no wore.

so ist there any possibility converting an new XML into the old firmware-code?
or is there something new & better to use for XML to MIDI than midian nowadays?
...i don´t have a mac so @michaelforrest tools won´t work for me unfortunately...

    Is this true? I need to find a tool to export XML files to DAW (midi). I’m on Mac what are these tools you mentioned from michaelforrest?
