External OLED build

I made a standalone OLED with a large 10,000 mAh battery and (eventually) midi CC. You can see a video of it here.

    There are still bugs to iron out, and I need to write the handler for midi CC messages. But I think it's at a point that I can post my current progress.

    Wow! That's a really cool project. I hope I'll be inspired to build one myself one day. I think I'd go for a bigger screen to make it easier to read.

    i haven't dug in to the open source firmware myself yet, but what sort of state info can you get out of the device? i was thinking about sending my deluge in for the OLED upgrade, but then i got inspired by this post and also how the OP-Z handles things:

    is there a universe where a secondary monitor (mobile device + app/webapp) can be attached to the USB port? i assume it's not strictly power since MIDI is sent over the wire... 🤔
