Controlling the deluge with a keyboard that sends out multiple midi channels

My question is probably quite simple and basic but I'm nonetheless having trouble getting it to work how i want. I'm running the latest community firmware 1.2. I've connected my Hammond SK Pro 1 to the deluge midi input. The SK Pro can do splits and layers and assign those splits and layers to midi channels. When I do midi learn on the deluge with the SK Pro it's assigning the synth patch to all the midi channels which is quite frustrating. I've connected the SK Pro to the computer to see what channels are being sent and it's definitely sending out on multiple channels (i.e. 1 for upper kbd, 2 for lower kbd and 3 for bass pedals).

The thing that's really doing my head in is that I feel like in an earlier firmware this didn't used to happen. I thought maybe midi-follow was causing it so tried to turn that off. Any assistance would be much appreciated thanks.

    per discord forum:
"[you] have the device set as MPE in [your] midi device settings and need to undo/disable that"
