Is it possible to activate more than one clip with the same MIDI channel?

Currently it is only possible to activate one clip of a group of clips sharing the same MIDI channel. At least that is how I experience it. When activating a clip of this group the other clips are automatically muted. How can this be prevented?

If they’re part of the same track it’s not possible as only one clip can be active at a time

However I’m pretty sure you can create another midi track and select that channel, it will display as 1A or something.

I loaded the latest stable community firmware (Chopin 1.2) and now in arranger view multiple midi clips with the same midi channel can be activated.
