What do -48 to 48 of SPEED correspond to?

I am often in a situation where I know the source BPM of a sample and have a particular target BPM, and it would be handy to understand how the gradations of the SPEED button are calibrated so I can just do the computation in my head. It seems for example like -12 gets you from 120 BPM to 80 BPM.

I think you should use the trigering mode "stretch" for your sample, have you find the solution ?
