Deluge refuses to power on at all

With either USB or a power adapter, I can leave the unit plugged in and eventually the charging light goes green. However, it simply won't power on at all. I don't know if this means the battery is dead, since it seems to charge. I've tried turning it on with shift held down, and select. No good. Nothing. It's had the OLED replacement work done if that makes any difference.

after it had the OLED replacement, have you ever had it power on properly?
did you ever install firmware on it after arriving? if so, which

the battery could have unseated itself while being shipped back to you, i'm not sure if the power adaptor still needs a battery in for it to power the deluge, it probably doesn't, but it's worth checking to see if your battery is properly seated:

what are your power supply specs? amp, voltage, and polarity

you can fill out the official hardware support form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTP-eDaaDOmU4-WRXcVhQIoIBd8bkLC_Up4_Lt1RbYZXA-xQ/viewform

It worked fine for months after the OLED replacement. Power supply specs are 900ma @ 9v, centre-negative. It's worked fine in the past. I'm mystified. I've had a look inside and the battery seems to be in place. I don't know the semantics of the charging light, but it goes amber, then it goes green, which suggests something's holding a charge.
