Unable to send clock to modular when receiving midi from daw (din or usb)

Hello everyone, I didn't find any thread about this but i'm trying to sync my modular with my daw using the deluge. When deluge is in control it works amazing, I send Run and Clock from Deluge to my pam'm pro workout and it seeks the bpm easily. Now when I send midi from my daw to the deluge, it sends transport run alrigh from gate 3, but clock stops from gate 4. Is it expected behaviour, and how to fix that? Seems to be an easy fix.

    adding that i'm using original firmware 4.1.3. anyone trying community firmware and syncing from daw to modular thru deluge?
