emergency: RAM "GOOD" but still not starting up

Hi, so I'm starting up my 7seg deluge (community firmware) this morning, display reads RAM, then swirley swirley, then it says GOOD. which i'm basically OK with but then it doesnt move on from there.
tried it with offical firmware on the sd card. same
any idea what;s going on? thanks

Quick follow up for anyone seeing this with the same problem, the bottom right pad (sidebar) was stuck
