MIDI Tracks Arpeggiator is both by default

Every time I create a new midi track, the arpeggiator is set to both by default. I think I remember choosing this as an option somewhere but can't remember where. I can't find it in the manual. Any help? Oh yeah, I wan't the arp to be off by default for new MIDI clips created.

After pressing MIDI to change the clip’s instrument to MIDI from a synth, it retains the arpeggiator setting from the synth preset that was loaded into that clip.
So you’ll have to reorganize your synths to avoid this.
