Modulate velocity of MIDI clips?

Often in kit mode, I will turn on all notes in a row (eg hi-hat or shaker) and then record myself modulating the level with the parameter knob to make rhythmic and human-sounding variations. Is there a way to do something similar for the velocity of notes in a MIDI clip, eg modulating the velocity up and down with the level parameter knob? Thanks!

    Not for velocity, no. But you can select any CC for the gold knobs to control, which could presumably control a level parameter on the external synth.
