Max sd card size, recording longer midi.

0

Hi All
My first one here. Very much impressed by Deluge. Makes me look deeper into song harmony than ever before, and the filters and delay sound gorgeous.

I have some general questions I have not found asked yet.

What is the maximum reasonable sd card size? Given that some multisample packs available here are as big as 6 gig, my card my be full soon, so I might as well as buy a 128 or higher. Still, if this should cause lags of any kind, I might as well give up multisamples.

How do you record midi clips with no pre-determined length? I am finding that once a new clip is created, hitting record is starts recording a loop of a single bar.

Thanks

I don’t believe there’s a size limit. Just needs to be formatted to FAT32. I have a 128gb card but I’m pretty sure it can take higher.

If while playing you mute the new clip so it’s red, then press record, then unmute the clip and it will begin record and auto extend.

Recording from stopped will auto extend too.

    Great, thanks a lot.
Both methods worked. This endless sequencer is insane!
