SD card reinstall

in Deluge Help

Not sure what I'm doing wrong?
As files &samples got messy with time and scrolling through presets became extremely slow (?), I decided to get a fresh start and reinitialise the SD card (Verbatim 32Gb supplied)
So after backing up everything on Mac, I

  • erased the card and reformatted as MS-DOS (FAT) using standard Disk Utility
  • downloaded then copied official factory content to SD card (now containing only 3 folders in root: KITS, SAMPLES, SYNTHS)
    However now the Deluge can't read the card... I get the 'FOLD' message.
    Am I missing anything? Please note I'm running Firmware 4.0.0

    maybe the folder SONGS need to be present?

    Ha yes! I added an empty SONGS folder to the root and that worked! Many thanks!

    Might be good if Synthstrom @Ian_Jorgensen added the SONGS folder to the factory content download to avoid these situations.
