Is it possible to immediately change between track groupings in Song Mode? Alternatives possible?

Hello,
I'm wondering if instead of having to wait until the end of a sequence (for Song Mode to change to the next track grouping) if one could quickly juggle back and fourth between track groups mid-sequence. If that is not possible are there any other ways to create a similar behavior? And to really over explain ----> I would love to create complex "pattern variation" by manually switching tracks (or even better, groups of tracks) mid-sequence and have the active step position remain continuous/seamless while switching back and fourth.

You can switch clips instantly by holding shift and pressing the mute/launch buttons but there’s not currently a way to do the same with sections.
yeah, you would have to hit shift+mute/launch for every track in that section at the same time. so there's some ability to get close to what you are attempting to do but it would take a lot of simultaneous hitting, throw in some screen scrolling to view the next section and it's probably too much of a hassle.. if you really wanted to you could resample each section so that all parts in one section are on one audio clip, then it would be more manageable to quickly shift+launch to each part as it would take only one row per.
