Scratchy sound when turning volume knob?

When turning the volume knob to about the 12:00 position I can hear a scratching (distortion?) type noise. It stops when I stop turning the knob but it's still quite annoying. I would really appreciate any suggestions to try and fix this. It's been happening since I first got my Deluge last year but it's become annoying now and I'd really like to fix it, if I can. Has anyone else heard what I'm referring to?

Mine has done this since the first day. It’s not loud, but easily heard. I don’t turn the knob in performance or recording so I’ve ignored it. I’ve read a few other people complain about the scratchy volume knob as well. Please post back whatever you discover.
