USB cable "hack"

Just killed my only USB A to B adaptor by accident.
Because I have lots of spare USB cables, I decided to try a DIY USB type B to B cable build before spending money on a new one.
I used two USB 2.0 type A to B cables, cut off the USB A sockets, removed some cable sheath and shielding on both ends, reconnected all wires by color, put on some shrinking tube and then soldered all connections.
A little electrical tape for the final touch and voila: No more adaptor needed.

Thanks, I know I needed that cable right away, that´s why I decided to make it. And I like the idea of upcycling.
Sure, it’s always good to recycle!
Nice job! A little DIY goes a long way.
