Is there a single word to describe the act of taking a sample and making it available over the range of a keyboard?

I think what you might be looking for is "chromatic" sample (ie, playing a sample chromatically over all notes)?
yeah that's right, you can achieve this on the deluge by loading a sample into a synth clip
ah so when we spread a sample over the range of a keyboard or other instrument range for playback it becomes a chromatic sample. Good stuff thanks you two
