MIdi CC to start specific song?

Is there any way to use a midi foot pedal to load up a specific song? I'm cool with starting and stopping the song once loaded with the pedal, but wondered if there was any way to semi automate selecting the next song when performing a set. As the bassist and electronic controller, this would mean I can load up the next song with my (Keith McMillen 12-step) midi foot pedal before triggering play?

    Thought so.
    Might also be quite cool to be able to load up a chain of songs to play one after the other?!:)
