MIDI learning shift functions to EXT controller

Is it possible to learn the instant launch of a clip with an external controller, like you would do with the shift+launch buttons on the Del? Or midi learn the shift function at all?

I just wondered around the DSI forums (I happen to own an Evolver Desktop, a Tetr4 and a MoKey) and those are DEAD, which is a shame. More-so because those aren't straightforward units, to say the least.
I wish it never happens here! Such a great community 
After a year or so of using the Del, I'm finally setting it up to use live in my violin solo lopper project, which is what I intended it for in the first place. Just got distracted with the delightful lights on the way here 
I hope I can share it with you all at some point.
