(Track 1) Kael Alden - 'Purple Waves'

Kael Alden is a composer from Salt Lake City, UT, USA, currently working with Robot Repair, who specialise in supplying unconventional contemporary music for film and television and also member of California indie-electronic artists Faded Paper Figures, who've just released their fifth studio album "Kairos", (video directed and edited by Kael)

(Track 2) Soft Decay - 'Colors'

Soft Decay is Keaton Kidder from Denver, Colorado who made an impact on the community recently with a great series of Deluge performances on his YT channel (

    .
Keaton also plays bass in raucous two-piece bass/drums punk/rock'n'roll band, Plastc Daggars (https://www.facebook.com/plasticdaggers

    (Track 3) Hurphendale - 'Cradled'

Nick Jennings from Prague, also known as Hurphendale not only managed to smash out almost a video a day during Jamuary this year, but actually delivered every time touching a range of genres and using a bunch of diff gear (though thankfully, lots of Deluge).

Spend some time on a deepdive here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcMrCmTWJGn_QY3lNKidhwg/videos
    Day 25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be195ME-5N0) is a personal fave.

SA02 (Track 4) Miklo & Future Self - 'Core Stage (Live Edit)'

If you're keen to hear amazing house on the Deluge, look no further than Miklo's YouTube channel. Hour's of impeccable performances to wade through and maybe you'll stumble upon this tune on your journey, a collaboration with Sweden's Future Self.

'Core Stage' live performance video below

First 100% Deluge-only track on the collection so far, a must listen!!

SA02 (Track 6) Alder Dice - 'Brain Scraps'

Armed with his Deluge, the UK's Alder Dice has smashed out multiple EPs, including, um, 'Deluge' 🙂 If you like what you hear, you'll find plenty more to wrap your ears around at: https://alderdice.bandcamp.com/

SA02 (Track 7) Wolf Shield - 'Tender Rubble'

We've shared Randy's work with Tralalablip a fair bit previously, but we're super stoked that we got to debut the new track 'Tender Rubble' from his solo electronic project 'Wolf Shield'. You can read about Randy and his journey from fronting one of Australia's most legendary 80s hardcore bands through to Wolf Shield, but whatever you do, make sure you listen to this gorgeous tune.

    SA02 (Track 8) Hugo Lopes - 'Vouzela'

'Vouzela' is a beautiful composition from Hugo Lopes, built around a field recording by José Alberto Sardinha, of a traditional Portuguese lullaby. A moment of reflection for listeners of the 'Resonance' collection

    SA02 (Track 9) spawnkiss (feat.Special Costello & Bésé) - 'Sore Sight'

Over the moon to be able to include 'Sore Sight' by spawnkiss & friends on Resonance! I'd been thrashing the single since it came out in February and was honoured to include it on our collection.

SA02 (Track 10) Domestic Scene -Try to Forget

Domestic Scene is a name everybody in the Deluge community should have heard of by now. A loved member of the community, Michael has shared so much of his work with the Deluge, including this song which was originally-released on his Deluge-centric album 'Imperfectionist' (he talks about his use of the Deluge on the album here)

There are a whole bunch of videos featuring the Deluge on his YouTube channel, it's a wonderful place to get lost for hours.

SA02 (Track 11) Fly Nights - 'Complicated People'

Such a massive honour to have Fly Nights from Auckland making beats and awesome house on a Deluge. I've been a massive fan for years and have thrashed (understatement) his 2017 EP 'Passage' released on MARGINS.

'Complicated People' is a brand new track and we're stoked to include on 'Resonance'.

    SA02 (Track 12) Alberto Picciau - 'Polvere'

The dense and lush 'Polvere' was a standout track for all the members on the panel listening to submissions for this latest collection.

Though the Deluge is out of frame, you can watch the original live performance of this track below

(Track 13) OORA - 'Averti Accanto'

Hopefully OORA needs no introduction. Whenever Federico Chiesa's even glances at his Deluge, we'll share the resulting ambient brilliance.

You can view this beautiful track playing on Federico's Deluge, here:

OORA has a great Twitch channel
You can check out his epic YouTube channel, hunt out the Deluge vids :)

Check out all of OORA's releases on Spotify

You can also support OORA on Patreon and get access to great tips and tricks

    Enjoy your journey :)

(Track 14) Melokit - 'Black Stone'

Melokits YouTube channel should be massive.

Melokit nails every genre he touches and his videos are consistently innovative and awesome. He's taken the art of filming a device playing a song to another level.

I would recommend, first subscribing and then taking a long wander through the archive. A few gems to start with are: On the Floor, Mr D, Dug D, Things, Echoes, NoBoDy kNoWs, Dirty Morning Jam, ShaRon J, nobody knows nobody, LoAd, Ruins, oh hell, just watch them all.

I guess while there you may as well watch the video for the song on the compilation (called 'Looper Time')

    (Track 15) L - 'Identity'

'Identity' from Seattle's 'L' is taken from their album 'Fear Makes the Wolf' (FMTW), released in April this year, and made largely with their Deluge.

(Track 16) TimeDrive - 'Beach Run'

If you're into synthwave, you absolutely need to wrap your ears around 'Beach Run' by Tokyo's 'TimeDrive'. Also featuring on the great album '1.0 Beta' (https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/timedrive/10-beta) which was made wholly on a Deluge.

    (Track 17) vyger - 'Hæmaturgy01'

Resonance takes a darker turn with this ominous track from Portland's vyger.

Though not of this particular song, if you want to see how vyger pairs his Deluge with modular rig, check out this video of 'MODSEA' below.

I imagine playing with electronics in cool dark rooms is a great respite from those crazy temperatures happening over in the Western US states right now. Stay safe and cool team.

(Track 18) 2fd5 - 'Mass Extinction Is Happening Right Now'

From the previous darkest track to the darkest title, 'Mass Extinction Is Happening Right Now' is the second to last track on Resonance and from the UK's 2fd5, also responsible for soundtracking this game right here: https://suddenlywhale.itch.io/synthroute82

If you wanna go deep, 2df5 has seven releases on Bandcamp: https://2fd5.bandcamp.com/music

(Track 19) The Arcane Garden - 'Delusional Dreaming'

Born from prolific Deluge community member DJ Will D'Beats (Will Chapman), who many will recognise from his 'pedal powered' videos. 'Delusional Dreaming' is the perfect track to round off this wonderful journey and comes from Canada's The Arcane Garden

Chapman has had an epic journey through life from spending a year on the road with Van Halen in '86 playing keyboards with Bachman–Turner Overdrive to even playing drums with Neil Young!

You can watch the live performance of this track below
