Tempo magnitude

in Deluge Help

I don't get it:
my external gear runs at double the speed as my deluge. if I set tempo magnitude by pressing -learn- and turning tempo I half or double the bpm number, but then the deluge is obviously on the wrong speed display. isn't there a permanent way to halve the external clock with the deluge showing the right BPM number?

    Is your tempo magnitude setting turned on? In the settings menu > MIDI > CLOCk > MAGNitude.

    yes, it's on. doesn't make a difference when it's off

    What's the external gear/ the master clock?

    If you’re using the CLK IN input or the gate output on the Deluge for clocking, check the settings menu under TCLOck > IN/OUT > PPQN.
    Those may need adjusting depending on the other gear.
