Downloaded a sample pack and the entire thing displays "unsupported" when browsing the files to load them into a kit.
Tried re-saving, re-encoding, and so far no dice.
Anyone know a reliable way to convert these files into a working format?
And no, I don't have access to a Mac or Linux machine to run amiga909's script
they need to be 24 bit 44100, use audacity, its free. There must be some way to batch convert...
Can confirm that:
1. Batch converting the files with LameXP and Adapter did not fix the problem.
2. Re-exporting a file with Audacity DOES fix the problem.
Just have to figure out batching for Audacity...
yeah, ive tried to batch in audacity and audition, turns out in audition is a 1 click job so stayed with that. I remember in audacity was tools/macro, make a macro then run the macro, or something like that
Well, the manual says: "Native sample format 16/24 bit / 44.1kHz, and up to 32 bit / 96kHz using file formats of aiff or wav"
Could be the samplepack is 32bit float ?
Ah, you are right it does say that, so maybe is something else..
