Switch default Mute behaviour (in song mode)

The "default" behaviour when you hit Mute buttons in song mode is: wait until next loop to change Mute status (on/off).
When you press shift+Mute, the Mute status changes immediately.
It would be crucially great if it was possible to switch the "default" behaviour as an option.
It's particulary problematic when controlling Mutes with an external controller (with a note message), since the shift combination doesn't seems to work with external midi command, so it's impossible to immediately change the mute status with an external controller, and that's a reaaal bummer..

Totally agree, I use the immediate mute function very much during a performance, it feels like I constantly push the shift button.
+1 It actually makes more loads more sense like that.
If you're 'Pre-Muting', you generally have more time, you can press shift and the timing is less crucial.
If you're 'Insta-Muting' you want your hands free to concentrate on the timing.
Please add a menu option if possible!
