Grains having a jam, showing a few upcoming 3.2 firmware features:
- Euclidean sequencing & performative step entry possibilities (knob dial rather than grid input)
- individual kit row lengths
- moving an entire 'row' of steps in a kit horizontally (in addition to currently being able to move all steps in a kit, and one individual step)
- New playback directions: reverse and ping-pong (can be set individually per clip)
- Not shown here but in same workflow, random playback options coming also.
Anticipated firmware release, early 2021.
More features being teased soon.

Oh my!
Thank you for all the hard work!
Exciting times can't wait for people to play with this one
Really amazing, can’t wait - thanks for your work!
Can't wait to play w/ it
Oh awesome. This will add a lot of options to sequencing.
Role on 2021! More fantastic features to the wonder worker Deluge!
Really was hoping for this. Nice we r going to have it soon
Keep it up!
Sooo excited about this update! Thanks for continuing to work on the Deluge!
Give it to me! I dont care if its like playing cyberpunk 2077.
much love, looks great!
Oh man. That Cartesian sequencing is truly juicy. I picked up a Squarp Pyramid to experiment with putting that in my arrangements, but the interface really doesn't speak to me like the Deluge's does. So excited.
ON the interna Squarp Pyramid is a marvelloys sequencer but in fact its such a boring tool if you have really not many devices to control...... In substance : if you don't have budget for enough synths Pyramid can be killing your process.
i enjoy the pyramid a lot as a companion to my deluge
and it truely shines for me when it comes to midi-fx.
try f.e an arp fx with a chance fx for random pattern generation. u can animate all fx parameters in fx step mode.
or try a track with 5 lfo fx
you can map each to a different cc and learn these to f.e to different synth parameters on the deluge
you can control each lfo seperately and also animate parameter in the fx step mode.
Ive been itching to get a Euclidean sequencer for ages (long before I got a Deluge), and so really looking forward to the drop on this.
I just saw the 3.1.4 release and had my fingers crossed, but sadly not yet. If you need a NZ based beta tester, let me know
Love it!
Nice to see Grains using the same trick of grouping kit samples via a muted audition pad!
What? Could you elaborate?
