Hi,
I know that you can trigger song sections with external midi gear, but can you also trigger individual clips? If so, I would use something like launchpad/apc/push to trigger and record the clips within the deluge. That would be massive!
If this is not possible I have a further question: Can you scroll through the clips of a certain instrument, without going back to the song window each time?

If you're in song mode, you can hold "learn" and the mute/launch button for the track you want to launch. Then press any key or button on a MIDI controller. Bam, mapped.
It's just like doing it with the sections, but a row over.
(Is that what you meant?)
One gotcha: If you pressed a note on a keyboard, you won't be able to play that note normally -- it'll mute/launch that track instead. So use an octave you don't normally play in.
