Polyphonic Vocoder anyone?

Struck me, what with Live audio Input, a polyphonic Vocoder could bring a host of creative abilities to the Deluge. Not currently possible, I wonder if it could be with a firmware update? It would be great to able to effect loops and of course live vocals.

Seems like the vocoder could be an extension of the FM engine. The idea of having samples as mod sources has been thrown around. What if you also had the audio inputs as a mod source?
