Just revisiting this idea - I tried renaming the file syth000.xml and the deluge still booted to a blank file like usual. Is there any other thing I can do so my deluge boots into a custom song template?

The rk005 should work for that perfectly. That is what I use. Just get a USB B to Female Usb A adapter, connect the deluge to the micro USB port and the op1 to the usb client port on the rk005. Make sure to connect the rk to the deluge while it’s of…

On a different but related note, I've had amazing results using the RK-005 from retrokits as a midi swiss army knife for my deluge setup. Won't solve the power issue, but would be a hardware solution to having a fancy router like an ios device.
