Unfortunately this tingle/shock is a well known side effect of switched mode power supplies, I have a bunch of gear that does it. Google "smps tingle" or "smps shock" for more info about the subject, in these days of things like CE regulations for e…

+1 I'd like to see more parameters available for affect entire too, maybe there is a reason for it though?

Basically instead of a sine modulating a sine as in typical FM the Vsynth would allow the line in or a sample to either be the carrier or modulator (IIRC) It worked very nice on drum loops and vocals, giving a result ranging from almost vocoder/ring…

Agreed, also for non blank unique instances in the arranger I’d prefer a dimmer version of the original colour rather than white, I think white makes sense for blank instances though.
-
Yes it is quite basic, it would be great if samples and line in could be incorporated into the FM (AFAIK the only other synth that could do it was the V-synth XT) However I quite like the FM in Deluge for simple 2-Op sounds which it copes with prett…

Found it 5:28 on this video, Ian says it is not yet possible to show, so assuming it will be added in an update.
-
I seem to remember this exact feature being mentioned in the sonicstate interview with Gaz talking to Ian about 2.0, maybe it is coming later?

Right! And it need not wait a whole bar, just whatever the duration of the buffer is.

@amiga909 said: @workergray said: the stutter effect requires some "lead time" to get audio into the buffer-- this is why it currently "can't" be automated-- interesting point. Did Synthstrom say that? I dont unders…

No interest in Ableton export either, but no objection to individual track export to wav/midi or to freeze idea, but the export to wav and freeze can kind of already be done, so I think other stuff would be higher up my list.

^ Good shout, thanks for the reminder @Icoustik

Another slice tip - you can load a sample by slicing into a kit and then go into each slices start and end points to change them, you can even have slices which overlap, or if you want you can have a slice play the whole sample, also you can change …

Possibly an obvious one but for multi-sampling an external midi or cv synth (or an internal one) lay out a sequence of notes in triplets view (12 notes to a page at whatever zoom level you want the notes to last for) for example C1-B4 using midi/cv …

When editing sounds you can hold down audition pads and press the shortcuts rather than having to press shift all the time, much better.

Damn, spoke too soon - kit creation is broken, see attached screenshot.

@jamiefaye said: Does the failure happen with old songs as well as new ones? Some areas (such as Midi and CV) I have not mastered fully yet, and I may be missing something in my own programming. So to repeat, the File Manager works, the Co…

The plot thickens, I managed to get hold of a W04 card and the behaviour is the same, ie latest build not showing graphical screens on song, etc. So now I’m wondering if I have done something wrong, odd that the other earlier build works fine though.
-
Thanks Jamie. Basically what happens is if I click on the song name the new tab opens, and the buttons for open etc appear, but the rest of the screen is blank. If I go back to main tab and click on the edit link in the song list the new tab opens w…

Follow up - I just tried the latest version and it isn’t working properly (song graphics not loading etc.) so for now I have reverted to the version that I had working.
-
I think the fx are just ok, the delay needs input filters, feedback amount (to infinite) and more delay time divisions, the reverb needs input filters, the mod fx are quite nice but could do with negative feedback and a few more options. The satura…

@o0_ said: I'm gonna +1 every good performance oriented suggestions. Also while where at it, being able to return to a given "base settings" for these effects would be awesome. In the heat of a performance, I've managed to go overboard on …

@minigoat I +1 for the latching shift but I don’t think it would replace exactly and I think both latching shift and instant mute would be good to have.
-
You're welcome, I will do a TR-606 kit and some other classic drum machines too when I get the time.

Thanks Jamie!

Unfortunately this old Roland one doesn’t have an option to turn it off, weird but it is very basic, no screen or display even. Yeah I could use my midipal to filter out the clock from the keyboard but I’d still prefer the option for the Deluge t…

Well I uploaded the file and it does not seem to be here? Here is the link forums.synthstrom.com/uploads/editor/op/t2xp3a4a5aw7.zip
