  • Sequencing TR-8S from Deluge

    Great thread 👍👍 I definitely couldn't be happier with the Deluge/TR-8S combo... unless there was a way to mute from the Deluge to make using the TR-8S sequencer easier to write songs with, but pattern chaining works, and using the TR Editor is pretty handy for dialing things in (if you can and are willing to use a computer [and a must for the librarian, if you're gonna use up all the banks of patterns to chain into whole songs]).
    I love using the TR-8S' sequencer because I couldn't find a way to trigger the step repeat remotely, but I'm gonna have to finally map it with the Deluge to take advantage of the triplet feature as well.

    Very excited to add a Drawmer DS201 Gate and use the trigger outs on the TR-8S to do some gated pads and guitar.

    Might merge midi from the Polyend Play and Deluge to add another set of variations made from the generative features on the Play. Hopefully the merger let's me run midi clock to the Play from the Deluge as well so I can basically sequence it's sequencer and complete full song arrangements with it all together.

    Sorry for going slightly off topic... I'm just excited, and maybe a little too inspired 🤣🤷‍♂️😝
