     Deleting Synth Presets, Moving and Removing Drum Samples from KitsI can answer 1. Press load and enter the name of the patch to delete. Don't select it at this point Whilst the name of the patch is flashing, press Shift + Delete. You can then delete the patch.

 I use it as a MIDI host controller. So that I can plug in any USB controller or synth into the Pi and the Deluge can immediately interface with it. As long as it's supported.There's no other reason other than the Pi was under my desk already and I don't own a USB hub. Also to get the Pi to act as a MIDI hub was fairly trivial. I assume if you use a powered USB hub you will essentially be using the Deluge as a MIDI controller.

 And you are connecting the Keyrig direct to the Deluge (using it as a midi-host)?Is your Deluge firmware at the latest?
