There will be lots of time for Q&A at the end of each of the three sessions, so if there is anything you want to to know about music industry stuff, anything at all, test me.
These will not be recorded or repeated, only live streamed once :)

Looks interesting, shame it's a Facebook event as I'm not on there (and won't be joining - which from what you say in your session NΒ°2 notes .. is probably a bad thing ;)).

As you said elsewhere, you were hoping to draw people away from Facebook and make this the primary space. Is there no possibility you could do all of that here?

I think its on synthstrom tv, the FB link is just a calendar reminder?

    Nice, thanks.

Actually, I just looked around YouTube and found the individual artists and watched the posts separately, which also has the advantage of discovering their own content/channels.

Yup. As the others said. This has nothing to do with Facebook other than I set up an 'event' on there that people can use as a reminder if they use that platform.
See ya in a few days :)

Thanks a lot, @Ian_Jorgensen ! There was so much helpful information and so many things I would never have guessed or gotten to know any other way. Very valuable insights, thank you for that!

I missed it due to time zone ambiguity... is it abailable afterwards in a recorded form?

    HeptagenHeptagen Posts: 137

@mszzz No unfortunately its not, but if you're quick you can go to synthstrom.tv and jump back up to 12 hours. That means that you have 1,5 hours left to catch it.

Oh no! I was looking forward to this so much, but wrote it on the wrong day of my calendar XoP I assume it's not going to happen, but if there was any chance of even a one-off replay, I for one would be very thankful!

I might do this first session again later in the year if there is demand for it. Still tons to gain from the upcoming two sessions though, and I'll start each with a Q&A of stuff from the previous one so you'll still def get some benefit from that.

Late to the party on this thread, but was able to watch it live - thanks heaps, Ian!

(For what it's worth, the sound of the heat pump just reminded me of home.)

Arg! I missed the first one and will miss this one too. Any chance they will be re-aired at any point?

You can rewind the stream upto 12 hours if you can find a moment within that period? If there is demand I might revist the content from from first session again at some point in the future if there is the demand for it. I figure people who even watched the first one might want a refresh, so I might do a series of 3 lectures again later in the year.

Thanks! In the middle of a big move across cities, so wasn't able to catch it. I'll keep my eye on the upcoming listings. Missed a lot of good stuff so far!

    HI Ian,
That would be great... I often have a very charged calendar... Please make it available in a playlist in Youtube...
I still need to find a balance between Work, Wife, kids ... and my desire to move in my studio to become a delugian.
    Cheers from Belgium

Sorry Psyl0 :( , it's just not content I'm comfortable with being online permanently. I only made this because of the temporary nature of the TV station. It's also a great opportunity for me to speak with the community and chat in real time.

Managed to jump back in time and watch this last session, and it was incredible! As someone currently plotting a pathway to live shows and touring for the first time, the pages of notes from your talk (and the subsequent ideas sparked) are invaluable. Thank you so much!

If you do ever revisit the topics from your earlier sessions, count me in for sure!
