@pbolger said: Make sense? Yeah, I understand—I just don't like it. I would like to be able to adjust the envelopes (specifically) using the display with a fine level of control.

And where will I be able to check the absolute value then Exactly. And while I'm hearing a lot of rationalization about why we don't "need" 127 steps, I have yet to hear why 50 is so necessary. It's counter-intuitive that the value you can a…

Thanks for your amazing work!

@VincentL said: +1 That would be very nice to get more algorithms and the opportunity to choose between different ratios too. I believe you can change the ratios but it'd be really nice if they were intervals/cents instead of numer…

This isn't the exact patch I'm trying to replicate but this video by @raybun has a lot of tips for similar "smooth/rough" sounds.

What I liked about the previous track cloning workflow is that if I felt that I had strayed too far from the original sound and wanted to get back again, it was just a single step on the encoder. After using the new workflow a bit, it's not so bad b…

huh, yeah I preferred the old way for sure. Something like what is proposed above sounds like it elegantly addresses both issues.

ha, dang that's awesome! Thanks for the tip.

I've been wondering about this as well since I traded my Digitakt for the Deluge. As far as I can tell though you can't map the mod sources to CC destinations. I just looked back through the manual and didn't see anything but I'd love to be wrong.

I have the same organizational difficulty. I would love preset folders, ideally.

Great, thanks for the info. I'm gonna be giving this a go soon. The only unknowns are if the bluetooth midi adapter draws any significant current (which I doubt) and whether the BT connection is impeded by the case at all. I should be able to do …

What about copying the pattern that's playing an instrument into another clip that sends on your midi channel and playing both simultaneously?
-
I will +1 the envelope issues whenever they're mentioned (not that I'm ungrateful, I just would really like better envelope control).
-
Ah, you're right—totally missed that. Also, your "anti-iteration" idea is great too.
-
I enjoy the probability/iteration dependence functions on the Deluge. One feature I miss from the Digitakt that I'd love to see implemented here are pre-conditions—i.e., only play this note when the previous not has also been played. It allows for e…

Okay, just realized I can pan parts to one channel and then pan a lead to the other channel.
-
Okeydoke, figured it out: putting multiple notes at the same step on the sequencer and setting their probability to something that adds up to 100 gives the functionality I was looking for.
-
Thanks, that controls whether or not a note will play for a given step. I'm curious if there's a way to set a likelihood that a different note on the scale will play at that step.
-
For the sake of any future searchers: I was able to use a Yamaha bluetooth MIDI adapter very easily.

Cool, thanks
