@Ctrl_V said: Anyone know why the command window is not running and staying open? I haven't used this program or read the readme, but from what you're saying it sounds like maybe you're double clicking the program to run it, when instead …

Here another recent one: "Intransit"

I ended up creating a shorter, better version.

To clarify, you're getting white noise with nothing plugged into mic or line inputs, so you expect sampling from the built-in microphone?
-
If dialing in the tempo and pitch you want has artifacts and you've tried both interpolation modes (but I think the default would be superior) then using some other software to make the adjustment on a computer may be your best option. You could …

Specifically for 3/4 there's the alternative of using triplet mode. Then your measures correspond to screens, which makes a bunch of things work as they should. But the grouping of columns is funny and the metronome is playing 4 over 3. Still, I've …

Maybe this is obvious, but the way it works means that once you assign an external controller to play a certain instrument or tweak a certain parameter, that controller will keep doing that regardless of "where you go" on the Deluge (e.g., into clip…

This is one of those tricks that can be achieved (awkwardly) with MIDI tracks and running a MIDI cable out from the Deluge and right back in again.
-
You mention hitting play. Are you forgetting to hit record?
-
Still a bit tedious, but you can change individual kit rows to MIDI or CV, so you can modify each of your clips in place. If you make the change in one and then save as a new kit, it will hopefully be pretty quick to run through the rest and switch …

Suggested UX for copying kit rows: * Hold down audition pad of row to copy (using shift during initial press if you don't want to trigger the sound). * Do normal copy command: [LEARN / INPUT] + press (SCROLL◄►). * Release audition pad, noting…

@udeluge said: I've assigned other parameters to external MIDI controller and the value change don't show up on the display. Even when you select the parameter being adjusted via the sound editor menu or shortcuts?

The blinks are at the mid-point of parameters where the mid-point is special in some way, not necessarily the values saved with the preset or song. (Examples: pan to center, pitch not adjusted, EQ flat, delay time at sync value.) Interesting idea…

According to this forum post the boutiques do a "soft-thru," so maybe you can just daisy-chain midi DIN cables for control. You could record two mono signals at once with a dual-mono to stereo cable like this one and assigning L and R inputs to s…

From the manual: To unassign any MIDI knobs from a parameter, navigate to the parameter’s value and hold shift while pressing the learn button. Only MIDI knobs can be unassigned in this way - the Deluge’s own parameter knobs can only be unassi…

Any thoughts on how you would set a clip's follow action?
-
This might be a case for sending a song file to Ian or someone at Synthstrom. If it's not too difficult, a video showing you reproducing the issue might lead to a faster resolution.
-
What's called INL on an OSC's type is labeled LEFT for an audio clip and is the default input source.
-
Transpose of a track with scale mode on will transpose all tracks with scale mode on.

I think the Deluge can only supply positive voltage from its CV outs, and I'm guessing the 0 Coast supports negative voltage for low notes. To get the musical result you want, you'd need to tune the oscillator(s) to the bottom of your desired range …

I bought my Deluge from the web site and never got an account there. Maybe that's only for admins? 🤷♀️

If you set the input of the audio track doing the recording to line in without monitoring, the Deluge headphone out would allow you to monitor the pre-effects signal. I think llexam is right about needing something external if you want to monitor th…

I just noticed the same issue with the MIDI-to-CV from the cre8audio NIFTYcase. I zoomed as a weak workaround, but it would be wonderful if there were a setting for this.
-
Are you saying you want moving the start point to also move the end point, so that you have the same amount of audio to play and no need to time stretch nor adjust tempo?
-
After adjusting the start and end points of an audio clip, you can re-"grab" its natural tempo to the song to remove time stretching. Search for "grabbing" in the manual.

Definitely agree this hurts the performance value of Shift-Launch and kit-row mutes in some contexts. I could imagine wanting the behavior on long-sustaining notes.

There are MIDI controllers that allow you to program output ranges (e.g., http://www.faderfox.de/pc12.html) and smart MIDI boxes that can do the same (e.g., http://midisolutions.com/prodevp.htm). I also like the tape idea. I also wonder whether t…

Does each MIDI clip have something different set up under PGM in the "sound editor?" Have you tried the more basic setup where the clips are both set to 8 and play mutually exclusively?
