Also, I'd like to somehow move the Beginning Point of a loop as well as the ending point! That's kind of a rare feature, but Tenori has is.
-
At the moment, my "work around" is to make a non playing pixel art layer which shows the title. ; - )

Constant Updates Make Deluge Great! 0_0
-
Again, Great Work with this! ( I wonder what other .WAVs deserve this technique...? )
-
Possible work around: Have a really good computer editor app, handy for doing the more complicated things, such as arranging kits, and making new synth patches. ( I still miss doing this on something like Reason, where I can see everything in fro…

My "Hard Techno Beat" and "Satelite Drum" are included in the 2.0 presets! These use the Arp to imitate Beat Repeat features, but I'd still also like to have it available globally, rather than having to to set every single patch and kit element to…

Well done, Thanks! ( Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Sample Packs category? ) This is a famously well rounded soundbank, and it adds some acoustic sounds to the Deluge. Still have my 01/W FD in storage! ( Design your own patches an…

I understand the saturation and bitcrush now, I would wish for some other sonic "flavors" of distortion / noise. Indeed we can't expect it to sound like the Elektrons' true analog distortion, but at least it's easier to program. ; - )
-
432 ; - ) hypothetically, one could enter a mode where all steps on the preview bar were tune adjustable...
-
Arp is lots of fun! I'd like to be able to change the note division with the gold knobs, and LFOs ( See also the thread on "note repeat". )
-
It doesn't seem to be happening with the new firmware. ; - ) Sorry for wasting your time!
-
"Step jump" is really interesting after you get your mind around it! ( Also exists on the Volcas, as below. ) But it does also have it's flaws - it's easy to "skip a beat" within the song, and people may hear it. Eventually it would be nice to …

+1 yes. With 999 in there, you might forget one or two?
-
I had imagined it as one loop per track in Song view, easy to incorporate in your verse / chorus structure. Grabbing, and overdubbing a loop with ease from the audio in. The UI is of prime importance, and it's generally a great strength of Deluge.…

I guessed that the drum pattern has a different internal "scale", so when the notes are turned back to instrument, they have conformed to that scale? I will note the exact note changes next time I see it.
-
it'd be better to have, but may not be possible if there's no clock in the machine.
-
the question is - what would it do with all the other loops? ( because they could all be in various places if they are a different length. )
-
you could enter a letter based name with the wheel, just as we've done on electribes for years.
-
Similarly, I'd really like to be able to NAME the song files. With so many memory slots ( great! ) it'll be easy to forget what is where. ( I've saved a text file with that info. )
-
once you understand the colors, it could have some value. but more choice of color options is great. have it make sense to you
-
^ Clever method! But it'd be even better if there was a track type that was specifically "live looper". ( Get a bunch of Octatrack users to switch over! ) Here is my example with RC 505 looper, but it'd be even better to not have to use an outs…

In fact. I do have Resolume. ; - ) But I also have a hardware VJ rig which can be sequenced by MIDI... that'll be interesting!
-
Yes, it would help also for the Shortcut parameters, ( though my hand is starting to remember where the Arp control is, etc. )
-
The thing is - you can have as many different Fills or variations as you want already! Using the different colored launch sets This is far better than TR8s for sequencing, part of why I didn't buy it.
-
Most grooveboxes could not do this... but the Deluge could! At last, near limitless space. Maybe holding Record, and then press Play also? ( As opposed to the Standard "stay within current loop" mode, which is also handy )
-
I really like the ARP! Let me wish it was easier to get at the parameters, that they would be perhaps mapped to the extra knob for all patches?
