I'd like to try this, but am on Windows. How does this tool handle tempo?
-
I had this problem a lot. What I do is put a metronome track along side it, adjust the tempo until I get the tempo exact (if you know it allready, that's easy). I then resample the sample as an audio clip. This assigns the correct tempo to it. I…

I've started uploading these to Patch Storage as well https://patchstorage.com/platform/synthstrom-deluge/ I'll try to get them all up over the next week or so.

I'll post my automated spreadsheet up. I was going to add support for drums and other objects, but it just supports synth sounds at the moment.
-
Yeah, the mapping is a lot of fun. I'll post my spreadsheet up that auto documents the patches. I was going

I just added a 128MB card to my Deluge. What I ended up doing was formatting with powershell on Win 10. It messed up but then allowed me to use FAT32 Format. FAT32 Format would not convert the format initially as it complained the drive was unava…

I've reduced the wait time between downloads to 1 min for the free membership tier.

I'll have a look to see if I can reduce the wait time between downloads. Subscribers don't have the limit, but I'll see if I can reduce the times for members.

OK, here's how I do it. I have the deluge feeding my 8PortSE with MIDI (MIDI interface/patchbay similar to your MOTU). I route Channels as follows: 1-4 to Port 1 - channels 1-4 - Kurzweil Forte 5 to Port 2 - channel 1 - Roland Jupiter 8 with E…

Oh awesome. This will add a lot of options to sequencing.

I've been uploading new patches every day. There's 21 available now, and it continues to grow. We've also started having contributions from other members, so hopefully building a useful and well managed repository of Deluge sounds.
-
I'm in the process of setting this up at the moment over at https://forums.godlike.com.au. I'll try to get some files up soon.

The way I've worked around this is to set all the pitch and transposition to 0 and play a click track. I adjust the tempo to the actual tempo of the track and resample the track as an Audio track. It then works properly as the resampled track is …

I have the same issue. Is there a way to override Deluges tempo guess?
-
The destinations would need to blink in another colour though, as you can modulate a source with another source, which blinks in white already.
-
I do this all the time, but I have it routed via my UFX and ableton as essentially a fancy audio router.
-
Image on the right will work better. You may want some absorbers on the rear walls behind the speakers and maybe on the wall behind at the first reflection point. It's a very square room, which is not the best for acoustics.
-
There is a setting in the settings menu to control the behaviour of the internal mic. You can go into the audio clips that are already recorded and go to the audio input setup and turn monitoring off. That will fix the issue you are seeing.

Um, you can do this already. Hold down the pad and move the parameter. Works internally and for external MIDI CC. One of the big reason's I bought the Deluge

Make sure the .bin is at root level on the card (ie not in any folder), that it is unzipped and that there aren't any other .bin files in the root level.

Another option would be for a track to have ALL channels (perhaps this could be the default). It will record all MIDI events regardless of channel and output them. If you start programming straight into this track, it will default to sending on Cha…

It would also be good to have the input level displayed on this somehow.
-
I do something similar. I move all my external MIDI clips to the top when I'm finished with all the resampling (during construction, I have the MIDI track at the top of the instrument group, with the audio resampling below it). I make sure they a…

For effects, a Kurzweil KSP8, and some nice preamps. Synths that are controlled from my Deluge: TR909, Alesis DM Pro, Roland Jupiter 8, King Korg, Kurzweil Forte, TB03 (sync only), Korg MS2000, Korg Prophecy, Korg EMX1 (sync only)
