FYI by default the velocity modulates the master level of samples and synths 100% (a value of 50 on the deluge). I find backing this value down (shift + master level, then shift + velocity in the mod source section) to 20-30 makes the sounds more p…

being able to apply effects pre or post-filter would be enough for me, but full on control would be even better.

It would be nice to be able to send any mod source out to external gear via midi CC.

If a Deluge 2 came out with velocity sensitive pads i'd jump for joy. It is really tedious having to manually enter drum hit velocities to try and humanize. I've been using a beatstep as a drum pad, but that is pretty tedious at times too.

@amiga909 said: a workaround is to learn envelope params. but kinda limited, not the same as note length. i dont think the up/down shortcut for moving rows up and down while holding a step is often needed, much better if L/R lets u set veloci…

I think this is a feature that is badly needed, and I disagree that using the zoom function is practical. It is a major pain to zoom in on long sequences and go page after page to find the notes you want to edit. I think it makes sense from a func…

+1 With the added song mode it would be awesome to be able to modulate parameters on external gear using the onboard mod sources.

this would be awesome. I have started bouncing some of my jam sessions and I'm realizing my mixes are not translating well at all. Even using multiple speakers and headphones it is hard to get a good mix just by ear. I also feel like the deluge i…

My midi cables actually are very difficult to insert into the deluge. Maybe it has to do with the brand. https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Cable-Plugs-3-Feet-108532/dp/B009GUP5SW

this plus fine note length adjustments using the left right knob would be awesome.

I agree. I rarely use it set higher than 2-3, and even then it can sound pretty distorted. A slightly more transparent saturation would be really nice to help liven up basses and such without mangling them,

I think we need more people to contribute content that showcases the deluge. It, ultimately, is like any other instrument - you have to be creative with it. Its limitations actually force you to be creative, and, for me, that has changed my workfl…

resample your sounds. With each iteration of the resample you can layer in more effects, saturate, add noise, layer in other sounds etc. Sky is the limit

I don't think anyone is against the features you are requesting. Its just the way you are loudly complaining about it in almost every thread as if you bought the deluge because it had these features.

@alien_brain said: yeah nice excuse used to shut down any opinion. my opinion stands. basics before toy features. give us toy features that are robust and useable, but give us better basics as a priority before toy features. this doesnt mean …

Did you not research what you were buying? Have you looked at other sequencers in this price range? other samplers? The deluge has not been misrepresented by Synthstrom, so it is kind of odd that you are so dissatisfied with your purchase. You …

It would probably be a good idea if you want really clean sounding recordings. Using the SM58 with the XLR-->1/8 inch cable worked ok, but it is not ideal. I think it worked because the deluge normalizes the recordings. If you want a better si…

I think it would be cool to have different envelope curves that are more suited to percussive type sounds. I am still struggling with the envelopes on the deluge at this point; the 0-50 range seems to make it hard to really do fine adjustments to th…

+1 for pre-count leading into recording I'd like to see it for both midi and audio recording.

I got an XLR to 1/8th inch adapter and have been using a Shure SM58. I have not messed around with it much but it did work, surprisingly.
