+1 a MIDI learnable Shift+Mute command would be nice!

@rcz said: I see a few good solutions in this thread but it seems to boil down to what is default versus "extra action" behavior. My preference is to have the default behavior be DAW mode with extra action taken to differentiate parameters betwee…

Everything ok with you amiga?? You asked a question: @amiga909 said: i am confused by abletonish uses of the words clip and track. And I gave you the answer in Ableton terminology. And yes, for understanding this you need to forget …

@amiga909 said: i am confused by abletonish uses of the words clip and track. In some of your posts it became obviously that you don’t know Ableton’s session view. Maybe you should watch a few videos - then it should be more constructive …

I don’t see any incompatibility for the current modes. If you change a color of a clip in session view, the color of this clip will change automatically in current song view, too. And vice versa. Every color change of a clip will affect both views. …

Wow, since a few post this thread became very confusing. Why not keep it simple like in Ableton Live (there is also a thread for an alternative 2. song mode, which is very similar)? I can’t see any advantage of the rightmost colored (section) row…

From my point of view the main problem and confusion in song view is: a horizontal line isn’t representing a unique specific track. In compare to a common mixer view and also in compare to Deluge‘s arranger view, this is confusing and not constantly…

Copied this from another thread, because I guess it fits here very well: @DVB said: ... but I hope that Rohan eventually turns away from this "jack of all trades" approach & focus on a singular development path ... he just introduced th…

+1 Just to mention the third way of nudging: It would be also nice if we could nudge all notes of all tracks simultaneously at once. Often, when I already recorded some teacks, I recognise that the “1“ (theoretically beginning of the loops) is som…

Oh, looks like some posts get deleted? At least all posts of solipsvs and posts from others which refer to them?

Great to get any feedback Ian, thanks a lot! I’m really sure you’re doing your best. Just hope that future updates will be -a little bit more- focused on eliminating illogical behaviors, instead of many completely new and huge features (which are al…

**@ All: WOW, what’s going on here?? A lot of hate, war and unnecessary spam! Unbelievable, please stop this NOW! And please keep this topic readable for the developers (and everyone else)! For this matter it’s absolutely not helpful if you ju…

Edited because of a potentially misunderstanding. This is a “Software Suggestions“ thread, so I wrote about a general suggestion for the development of the software, hoping that the Deluge team is taking it a bit to their heart in common. This th…

Yes, I know what you mean. But maybe he could change to a A-B deveolper? I just had the feeling to tell my thoughts, and if hopefully Rohan will recognise that users could also accept a slower development with less features/per time, but well toug…

@minigoat said: the deluge is kind of made to just embrace a chaotic sandbox mentality. Like its just not entirely designed to be one thing but at the same time it's just one thing, if that makes sense? This makes absolutely sense and I f…
