  • @milkformycoconut said: another thing, dropouts are also happening when song was playing, and i was browsing folders and previewing new samples. So can someone confirm that 3.15 actually doesn't do this? since i love working with samples and this…
  • @rotur said: OK, I'm assuming you can't have more than one instance of synths per track? As once I engage a new track, the synth button is available again. I'll use my just being released from hospital as a defense...😵‍💫 You can definitel…
  • @eclipxe said: Dream come true and even better to have Jamie leading things!!! Definitely. Was a nice surprise reading that Jamie is part of this. Makes sense too!

  • @0xF0 said: I don't watch video, but I'd definitely be interested in more info on that. The workflow sounds fascinating. I still struggle with the recording process - setting lengths and punching in and dealing with quantization just don't strike…
  • @oneANT said: This is much too good. You should be banned. Very inspiring. ant You're too kind. Ha. @0xF0 said: Great album, quite fun! Impressive that you got that all done on the Deluge! I'm still trying to…
  • @Mriley333 said: Excellent job on the mixing and mastering. Loved it on all levels, reminds of the genius of Lou Reed and Danny Elfman. Hey thanks for listening! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm very flattered by the comparison

  • Yeah, I use the white clip method for little pre-verse drum fills, etc. often. Very useful!
  • @mumblethief said: My ears perk up whenever I hear "Deluge" and "tempo change" in the same sentence. I've fiddled around with a couple different approaches to making that work on the deluge, and I'd love to hear how you approached the challenge.…
  • @SynthStudio said: Love how different it is, and it actually sounds great, too. A billion points for creativity, uniqueness, and the courage it takes to go there. Can't wait to hear the rest... Hey thanks! More to come, for sure.
  • @punxdrone said: That's something different, I like it. Thanks! Yeah, I figured it might be interesting, at the very least, as it's a different genre/style than is usually associated with the Deluge (and different than what I usually make…
  • Hmm. Why do you feel if you use the same synth it has to be one long track? If you use multiple instances of the same synth, but in different coloured sections, you can switch between them as needed. I've done verse/chorus/verse, etc. on the Deluge …
  • @Louis_in_The_Lab said: I know exactly which song I was in when the device shut down. Are there any key words I should go look for in the XML code for the song? If you know the precise song causing the issue (which is a big help) I'd sugg…
  • @CAD said: Hi @rohan, I've had a pretty dramatic fail on my update. I powered off my Deluge, took the SD out and followed the install instructions as I've done for every update thus far. I put the SD card in, held shift and tried to turn it on an…
  • You can delete kits directly on the Deluge. Just do the following: * Press Load + Kit * Navigate to the kit you want to delete * Press Shift + delete * Confirm (Same steps for synths, just replace "kit" with "synth")
  • Great news! Any idea when the 7-segment units will get the fixes for the memory issues? Happy to hop into beta mode to test anything.
  • I ended up opening my Deluge up today and it wasn't too bad aside from the 32 screws that hold the circuit board to the face plate. I was able to use some cleaner on the shaft of one of my gold knobs (didn't need to spray from the bottom). Not sure …

  • I usually get the song as close to how I want it as possible on the Deluge itself (using sidechain, simple EQ cuts, etc.). Then render the entire thing into Reaper, where I can master it as a whole. This has worked well for me so far (did a full alb…
  • @Affectionate_Bee_781 said: @reza yep - although if you change the time for delay of the whole song, you can actually get pretty long delays without changing tempo. But if you want to sync it, then yes you need to use a slow BPM Here's 28 …
  • Nice. I'll have to give this a try with mine, as one of my gold knobs is starting to go and I was going to open it up to clean a few of the pads too.
  • Excellent! Thanks. Might let me sell my BS2 as well
