  • I was wondering if there was a way to just record the reverb. Thanks. I’ve messed with the dampening. The reverb to me sounds very metallic which works great for some sounds and not others. Usually when you have a metallic sounding reverb you dam…
  • That’s a big brain idea. Never would have thought of that. Problem though is the no stereo part. I was trying to figure out a way around the deluge reverb since it doesn’t always fit with the sound I’m trying to make. I want that big lush reverb for…
  • I agree. Don't get me wrong I don't think it's bad to keep a pulse on feature requests but I'd much rather have conversations about how people are creatively using what's there. The fact that the Deluge keeps getting updated is just icing on the ca…
  • I've done more testing on this. Here are the things I've done. 1. Merged the small partition on the drive and reformatted 2. Checked for hidden files after format (there were none) 3. Copied over just the factory files. Everything from factory w…
  • @French said: I ordered a Deluge last week and I have a 256g card here so I'll let you know if I experience any issues. That would be great. Appreciate it and congrats on the deluge order.
  • I thought of that too. The drive does have a little partition of 16MB on it that says it's unallocated. The main partition though is clean. I have "show hidden files" enabled and there's nothing in the drive from fresh format. Maybe the 16mb unal…
  • I am having this same issue with a 128gb file. The card is recognized. The samples and presets are all there but when I switch a preset it freezes up. Works on 32gb card just fine.

  • @xster said: lol seems like a debugging nightmare. We didn't give you any usable reproduction steps. That's a really quick fix. Very impressed. Thank you Rohan! I did state what I am doing when the bug occurs and what screen I am located …
  • @rohan said: Terribly sorry about this problem. It has already been found and fixed, and a V3.1.1-beta1 build shared in the beta testing group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/DelugeBetaTesters/ A beta2 build is coming later today with an…
  • I got this today as well. It has been periodically crashing on me. Sometimes with the E324 or E325 error but sometimes it just locks up. I haven't been changing out samples or anything I'm just working on arranger mode laying out a track. Someti…
  • I thought I had seen a post on importing and exporting the midi information but I couldn't find it. The idea being you could use midi tracks created elsewhere in the deluge or take the midi from the deluge and use it elsewhere. If I'm understandin…
  • @Naenyn said: I’ve been wondering about this too, but haven’t found a better way than what you described. Perhaps it could be a feature request? Yeah I was hoping it existed already and I was just missing something in a setting. If it do…
  • This makes a lot more sense now. Based on the manual "The value selected will determine the number of repeats to assign to the selected note, positioned equally in the time interval of the pad". I don't think I understood that "interval of the pad…
  • I should also mention that I have found that sometimes decimal values for tempo were used in some of my sample packs but in the name they rounded it. So instead of 112 it was 112.4 according to tempo detection. Using ableton warping I brought the …
  • @Rblanch @normalmusic Sorry I didn't see this before. I'm trying to get better about checking the deluge forums. It is what I mentioned before. At least in my case. I was working with samples that weren't completely set up properly from the samp…
  • @neilbaldwin said: There seems to be a bug with the note repeat. If you place a note and extend it longer than 1 grid pad, then set the note repeat, the note gets truncated to one grid pad and the repeats all happen within 1 division of th…
  • @Will too late for that
  • Thanks for taking a listen @Will . Saw your comment on YouTube.
  • I think I figured it out. Going to do some more testing. The sample packs that I am working with have the bpm mislabeled. Which is a little strange considering the producer of the sample pack. I threw the same sample into ableton and even though…
  • @amiga909 Yes that makes sense. The clip is 8 bars long at 120 and on the deluge I have a single note in a kit that spans 8 bars exactly. In cut mode it loops perfectly with no strange audio artifacts. There are no stutters at the end/beginning o…
  • It's a like/dislike system for post popularity.
  • Hey thanks for taking a listen. Most of it is samples. I have never had to work with a hardware sampler before so I wanted most of what I did in this track to be sample based so I could get used to the pros and cons of using samples. Even in my s…
  • Yeah I thought that looked like an Eventide pedal. I've been eyeballing those and the Big Sky but this is my first venture into hardware so I want to figure out what I want to do with my setup before I dive in too far. I do have to say that I enjoy…
  • I know what you mean with PC work and being a creativity killer. I always found myself trying to enhance my ableton setup to work more like hardware. The ableton push 2 and the NI Maschine are excellent for working in a software setting while stil…
  • There is no chord mode that I have found. Doesn't mean to say they won't implement one but I haven't found one at this time.
  • I can understand what you're saying regarding the clone and wanting it to have the same parameters when you make adjustments to one however right now what you are doing is a per clip automation similar to the way ableton session view works. Having …
  • +1 It would also be good if it allowed you to smooth the points between steps so that you could easily create an automation ramp that isn't jagged.
  • @Ian_Jorgensen said: Track "1": Patch the oscillator volume not the master volume to the LFO Track "2": Sorry, I can't work out what the issue is with this one, seems fine to me. Can you email me a file with JUST this track and with everything…
  • @Will said: Yes, all the sounds are from the Deluge. None of my own samples, etc. no external fx. To be honest, I didn't expect the synth engine to offer such great interactive control, but it was a nice flow. I thought about adding some be…
