OK I might have solved it. The SD card that came with the unit was faulty. I uploaded the 1.4 update and factory files onto a new SD card and now it record through the internal mic works (not tried line input record yet). The card supplied with the …

thanks for the info and advice. This looks like a great community! The Ireland advert is a great find but unfortunately I cannot use paypal credit to buy it (it has to be in the UK). A constant watch on ebay might be my best bet. cheers

not sure. I think so like they do in the elektronauts forum? But apologies if I shouldn’t have posted this. The reason I have is that I can’t use paypal credit in the UK when buying stuff from abroad and at the moment I cannot afford to buy it…
