  • There is a way to manually transpose parts of a pattern using copy + paste. First you need to scroll / zoom the display so the Deluge is showing the part of the pattern you want to transpose. Then it's a simple case of copy, scroll up / down the req…
  • Copying a pattern creates a new one on the same CV / Gate pair.
  • The order you press the buttons is important. Pressing and holding Save and then pressing synth should save the preset (the synth light flashes along with the Save and Back lights). If you press and hold Synth and then press Save, it goes into song …
  • I just got a Touche and had a quick attempt at mapping with the Deluge. My Deluge is connected to a MIO 10 MIDI router via USB and so I just connected the Touche the same way. Then it was a "simple" case of following the manual on how to map externa…
  • It sounds to me like there are multiple sources generating MIDI clock messages. As the message is just a single pulse, and the timing between those pulses generates the BPM, it's quite easy to get strange timings when more than one clock is present.…
  • Yep. Long file names were bolted on to the FAT (8.3) file system by using some clever tricks storing data in directory entries (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_filename). I can't speak for the file system code used by the Deluge but it's o…
  • It's a feature Originally FAT file systems only supported 8.3 file names. When FAT32 was introduced, Microsoft left the old 8.3 names for backwards compatibility and stored the longer version of the name elsewhere.
  • It's a product of the way long file names are supported by FAT32 file system. Each file effectively has two names, the long name and a backward's compatible 8.3 name (which tends to be the first few characters ~ and a number). So "CB1-bdrum1.wav"…
  • Were you adjusting arp sync in 1.4? The arp rate setting only has an effect when arp sync is set of "OFF"...
  • +1 to this. I'd also like an option where the MIDI channel for track is auto-learned. My Rev2 is on MIDI channel 1, so to record from it all I really want to do is set the Deluge to MIDI channel 1. Having to learn the input is an unwanted extra step…
  • +1 from me. It would be great to be able to use the other CV output as modulation from a CV track.
  • I've actually got a crappy Amazon Basics powered USB hub connected to the MIO as I've got a couple of USB MIDI synths so I can'r say for certain..However, it shouldn't be any different to a USB socket on a computer so I'd expect it to work.
  • I just plugged my Deluge into the USB port of my MIO 10 and it worked without a hitch. You should have no problems with the MIO 4.
  • I just thought I'd say hello and add myself to the list of people with sticking encoders. I've sent a link to a video of the problem to Synthstrom so now I guess we're waiting to see what happens next. Let's hope there's a simple fix...
