Oh yeah I forgot about adding an OLED screen It would certainly make sense to also add the software upgrades (like vertical Ableton style clip launch mode, MIDI FX, Midi Profiles, etc) to the current Deluge as well. But I'm sure if Rohan would d…

Yes but sometimes you want notes/automation until the end of the bar and then it might “overlap” to the beginning of the bar, recording it there as well.

As you can rearrange the order of the clips, it makes sense to launch a complete row as you can choose which clip is in which row.

I just got a Novation Launch Control XL, which is great to control the volume and synth parameters. It can also launch clips with the pads, but it is hard to seen which pad is for which clip.. It would be great if the Deluge could send midi feedback…

I’m pretty sure it does? You just have to load the saved kit again

@Eddy said: @muleskinner said: Erm - you can now assign each row in a kit to send a MIDI note which I think covers most of the above requests. yes, but unfortunatly it can´t be stored :-( You can save a kit: ho…

+1 I also made a topic about this, didn't know this one was already there. But I'd also love a post-recording quantize function. As well as a "quantize start times only" and non-destructive quantizing (keep the original recording, just playbac…

@MPrinsen said: @rohan I made a sketchup Yes it would be very nice if @Rohan or @Ian could share their opinion about this and whether or not there is a possiblity of this being implemented in the future.. This is the only rea…

@supertwang said: I agree with MPrinsen. It is probably eaiser/less-contentious to assume there are people out there who like the existing song mode, and leave it in its current form. Nicely, though, in the UI it creates the opening for the dou…

I’d rather have the existing song view as it is, but with a way to toggle between the current song view and a new session/clip launch view. Then maybe also an x/y axis swap function in the settings. But the whole point is to have 1 pad for each p…

Apparently the overlapping portion is smaller than 1/192. My daw does record it, but because of midi jitter it does not always correctly record it... I also asked Arturia if it was possible to extend this portion, but no response yet...

@amiga909 said: Not sure what you mean. You have 2 consecutive midi note-on of the same pitch? Most synths perform an implicit note-off when a note-on comes along. Or do you have overlapping notes of different pitches? This should wor…

I’m still waiting for this as well.. it would make this device so much more usable for live performance! I was just thinking: would be great to have the option (inside settings) to flip x and y axis, to suit personal preference.

@ROGAVKA said: Oh, I would love it. Each button to launch a clip and shift + button to go inside its contents. Right buttons to launch scenes. Cheers! Shift + button would trigger it instantly instead of arming it, like regular song mode.…

@LarsDaniel said: Hold note, turn knob to make note shorter. Done. I love this feature on my Arturia Beatstep Pro, and it feels incredibly clumsy to have to zoom all the way in, locate the note again, then make it shorter, then zoom out ag…

@dhub said: Just got the Deluge and I couldn't believe it can't focus the midi note inputs to what you are working on! This is almost a deal killer for me, as was planning on using it live. Yeah I actually bought a roland a-49 to be able …

You can just use the hpf to kill the bass?

Just want to bump this as I'm still struggling with how to deal with this...

Remember; the sidechain is actually an envelope that gets triggered by a kit sound. If you do this on synths, it will only get triggered af the start of the note, not like actual sidechain compression during the whole note.

Would it work to use a midi footpedal through a midi hub like mio4, connected by usb to the Deluge? Or do you have to connect it directly to the midi port of the Deluge?
-
Also, anti echo option per track would be great! Now I have some synths that make double notes or “stuttering” parameter sweeps upon tweaking a knob. This is because I have its midi learned to the midi clip that is instantaneously sending its mid…

+1 I’d like to have pgm change receive option for integrating DAW projects with it as well. So when I open up a DAW project, it will send a pgm change to the Deluge, which in turn will send pgm changes to all my external gear upon loaded. This wi…

@amiga909 said: yes. with the continue play command Deluge emits song position via midi. u can for example sync another Deluge, use continue play in Arranger and the synced Deluge plays from the same song position. havent looked up yet, suspec…

@feijai said: I do not own a Deluge, but have been loaned one for a while by a friend. It has the new panel. I think it's a fun machine but it has a few showstopper flaws for me which sadden my greatly. One big one is that the shortcut t…

Usually you can get quite nice kicks by simply applying a pitch envelope to a sinewave, but with the Deluge I can’t get it to sound nice and punchy. I think the envelopes are too course or something?

@amiga909 said: yeah great suggestion. should it keep octaves in collapse mode? like if u have a3 in the collapse scale, a0,a1,.. are shown too? or just a3. Maybe give both options?

@Andreas said: @amiga909 said: @MPrinsen said: I think one more scale mode would be sufficient for me: collapse. This means you first enter a few notes in the grid without the scale, then activate the scale and a…
