Damn I'd even pay for this...

I'd like to bump this because it's still a major issue which makes the deluge hard to use for big sets. Splitting the set into multiple projects is not really working as well, because it's not possible to copy a track which all it's properties to a…

Even some adjustable velocity randomization could be enough to get some life into some live material played with the pads.
-
But add dotted variants to the arp first. This is even more essential.

This is overwhelmingly awesome work. Thank you! I hope, all of the (remaining) points getting implemented soon.

Yup, this would be really useful and it would finally allow us to copy clips between projects. The lack of this ability is a PITA for me because the good stuff is scattered between many projects.

This needs more upvotes! I'd like to have those manipulations permanent as well to create variations of a sequence quickly. For example: Create a 1 bar sequence, duplicate it, interpolate the length over 4 bar (copy, paste) and reverse it -> in…

So I'd have to bring a PC on stage in order to make use of this mode? I bought the Deluge to avoid this. But maybe I'd be ok with a headless Raspberry PI/Arduino solution.

I'd love to hear some official feedback for this issue. This is driving me nuts for a long time and I was close to sell this thing quite often. The only thing that holds me back is the fact that there's no other note-matrix sequencer (I don't need t…

The opposite version of this feature would be useful as well. Humanizing entered MIDI notes by allowing to shift single notes by small amounts (like 1/192 or less).
-
I'd even say ditch the current arranger and make it based on the session view and scenes just like in Ableton Live. This software is popular for a reason.
-
+1 At the moment this is only feasible when looping is started with a MIDI controller.
-
Also for MIDI clips.

Any updates on this? @Ian_Jorgensen said: aye, we currently use these various platforms as they are suited best. These forums are perfect for collecting peoples ideas for software suggestions as things are catalogued and searchable easily. …

A second reverb in the effect chain is such a waste of resources. A reverb is the most expensive effect you can have. Better make the one reverb more versatile and better sounding.

@amiga909 said: Yeah, talked to the dev at Superbooth, Dada machines are really nice folks. Wish them success. Wont be released before 2020 or even 2021. He told me they are looking into stuff you can actually do on the device. Just a Midi se…

TL/DR; I just need a damn sequencer with a grid interface, clips and a user interface which doesn't suck. @pbolger said: On the other hand you can buy a copy of Live for half what this device costs, and it'll do everything it does and more…

@pbolger said: Although pretty limited compared to the Deluge: • 16 × MIDI/Audio tracks (Machines) • up to 12 Patterns per Machine • Up to 16 Bars per pattern Yup very limited. Except for the open source architecture (which i…

Is the live-looping just for audio or also for MIDI so that the track length of every track grows automatically? Will the foot pedal be usable for other things than audio looping too?

@Ian_Jorgensen said: "Clip" is a word familiar to users of other DAWs and hardware, meaning a low-level item which may be created, launched, or placed along a broader timeline. This change in terminology has zero effect on the way the Deluge is o…

Well... I guess Akai heard my cry and reacted adequate~ But it's still a kinda love-hate relationship with the Deluge.

@MPrinsen said: The way song view works now just discourages me to create much more than 8 tracks. Which is a shame. I want to launch as many tracks from the same screen as possible. Especially since it is very blurring which track is which when …

http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/1093/give-each-track-a-visible-number There needs something to be done about this track identification issue. It's impossible to keep track about tracks at the moment.

Sequencing. Thats it for 99% of the time. There's nothing comparable for this task on the marked right now. There are better solutions for all the other things the Deluge can do. But sometimes (1%) I take the Deluge for a jam in the train/bus…

I'm doing the following right now: Hardware: 3x Cameo Hydrabeam 100 Moving Head, several RGBW LED spots The Deluge is my sequencer brain and I maintain a single track with lighting instructions. I route the Deluge MIDI out into a Raspberry PI …
