I don't have the OLED. But it should work for anything 4.0+
-
I make 303 style slides by using portamento and legato polyphony.
-
Yeah scaling would be so helpful.

@oneANT said: having fun with this. Am running through a vermona retroverb (Xmas Pressie). Straight away I got some beats ..there is one in the kit (2nd from the top) that I especially like ..can I ask, what would you call a sound like that. …

Awesome!

Here's a live performance.

Here's a recording. 100% Deluge except for my singing at the end.

@o_o said: This is a great idea 🙂 I already have the common breaks as kits, but just as simple 8ths slices, without any reverses or FX. Around 100 breaks/kits in total…I'd be happy to share them here, even if you're the only other person who's in…

If it's too tricky to place the samples and kits, I can also make a dummy song with some kits in it.
-
Here's a link to a full Amen kit with all of the hits, shuffles, and a couple of reverses and FX. It's good from 160 to 175 BPM or so and all the sounds are in a choke group for easy mono tracker stylings. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1179LHvjwj-…

Love this. 🙏

Also, any specific breaks anyone wants? If we decide that the copyright issue is too risky, I can gin up some reasonable similar sounding ones with the right microtiming and play feel.

@o_o said: User @alphaminus posted some Jungle tracks here, including a deluge project file for one of them. I was really impressed by what they did, so I thought this might be of interest. Dude, thanks for the plug! If people want some s…

I like to make pad sounds that are so effected that they start stealing a lot of cpu, and then resample them as the oscillator on a new synth track, and put some longer delay on that. It's really useful to make the old tracker style harmonies where …

Yeah it would be cool if the controls went to the whole kit while the light was on. Not a deal breaker tho. Still my favorite bit of gear.
-
I use microtiming to do this, though it can get a little tedious on really long patterns.
-
With the new higher resolution, one can make the note virtually indistinguishable from 16 steps.

@workergray said: not precisely jungle, but jungle adjacent. call it "jungle proxima" rad

Yeah, I just end up loading stereo single cycle samples into the oscillators. It's a hack, but significantly better than nothing.
-
For me I either manually automate volume or filter per step, or use the sidechain. If you want to use the sidechain for something else, you can always resample your trance-gated instrument.
-
Maybe I need to record MPE data from a DAW, or edit the Deluge song file? Open to suggestions.

Here's some more I wrote over the weekend.

Thank you so much! This is such a supportive community!

I'm gonna do this for 7 days.

Sill 100% Deluge

Okay, I'm doing A new one every day for a while. Here's the latest.

Oh no! try this. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1x-BMcCQ_zdBjCfFeaVbPRfYN7S9wGfc8?usp=sharing

This is the last of those 3 tracks, the one with the aggressively chopped amen. Please excuse my sloppy naming and file management. I had this song separated into several subsongs and was switching between them, but I combined them with this https:/…

@o_o said: This is really great! Thanks for sharing. Did you use external effects, or is everything just the Deluge + RNC? And how did you do those break edits starting around 7:50 on the Deluge? Are they manual edits in the sequencer, or …
