It says you haven't provided a proper URL. Maybe go back in to Soundcloud and find the embed URL.

@manateemilitia said: And where will I be able to check the absolute value then Exactly. And while I'm hearing a lot of rationalization about why we don't "need" 127 steps, I have yet to hear why 50 is so necessary. It's co…

About the 128 vs 50 steps, Rohan just confirmed that the parameters do indeed have 128 distinct midi values even though the Deluge deals in 50. The logic behind that is simply less numbers to scroll through with the select knob - the gold knobs stil…

@harrykaufman said: WAV file export / mixdown would a brilliant move to overcome the single audio output and allow for easy mixing/mastering in a DAW :-) WAV file of the master output is covered by resampling. For me 'render all arrang…

i just wish there was an easy way of copying a patch from a kit to a synth and vise versa.

If it's just a couple of screws why not try one of those cellphone repair places in your local mall? They are usually pretty experienced at tiny tiny screws. Just take the problematic bit (wrapped and boxed to avoid damage).

You can definitely preview and edit samples on the card when it's working. If you are seeing a display like that above you are seeing the default Flashair view, which is, I think, a built in web server meant for showing camera images. I don't t…

Isn't there a 'modern' parameter on the new panels? Comes up 'soon' if you press it though.
-
Let's go back to the start. 1. Put the Flashair card into a card reader in your computer. 2. It should have the Deluge directories on it, with all the patches, songs, kits etc inside them. 3. It should also have the DR (Downrush) folder, and t…

So you've reformatted the Flashair card, and it works in the Deluge as an SD card. But you still have this problem: "can’t see it when searching using iPad or iPhone." Maybe you could give us some more detail. What are you searching with?
-
I wouldn't worry about those OSX dotfiles, incidentally. Macs create those everywhere.
-
Firstly, you do understand that the Flashair, in it's default configuration, creates its own Wifi network? It's theoretically possible to make it act as a client, but I've had no luck with that so far. One gotcha is that the Flashair defaults to t…

Pliers? That sounds wrong. Don't! I don't think there were any screws included with mine. The M32 screws: They weren't that hard to undo for me (not half as bad as the allen keys in the knobs anyway). Some tips: Make sure you have the correct size…

So it's not a bug, but it seems to be a setting that defaults different after the update.
-
Wired signs? First thing: take a backup of what you have on the card now - save it as a compressed file. Then, decompress a copy of your backup and take a look through the files. It's all xml and shouldn't be too hard to fix. You just need to wo…

I just noticed this too. It used to work pre version 3.0. I can see that there would be a reason to allow it to be disabled - during live performance - but I'm not sure where the setting is.

The Deluge just needs 9 to 12v DC. I don't think it's that power hungry (it runs on USB, which is a bit weedy) but probably 1 amp minimum would be good. Beyond that it's mostly a matter of getting a PSU with the right plug size. If I were you I'd go…
-
I suspect that this isn't technically possible, and, it's sort of out of step with the philosophy of the Deluge - which is very much about portability and spontaneity. What I would really like though, would be a render to stems function, which woul…

@pbolger said: How about a cash back for the old panels? I presume they could be rescreened and used again (assuming they aren't too smashed up)? Received my new top panel and installed it yesterday. The hardest part turned out to be remo…

Here's a good question: If you fine tune a parameter using the gold knobs and then save the patch, does the finer value get saved, or does the deluge round it up or down to the closest 0-50 value?
-
So this proved that in my case what I need is a replacement pad, which fortunately is easily available from Synthstrom at a reasonable price . My guess as to what caused the problem is just a high amount of wear on that pad caused its conductive s…

Thing is, the Deluge one will do exactly what's needed for use with the Deluge. I'd buy that and an Arduino if you want more extended capabilities. Also: Take a look at this . Both units for less than the Source Audio pedal and the Bome provides a…

@Lukree said: Would Source Audio pedal work for the same results? https://www.sourceaudio.net/soleman-midi-foot-controller.html Would perhaps prefer a pedal which I could set up for other midi duties as well. Probably, but it ap…

Different sockets in the same room are quite likely to be on the same circuit. Maybe you should consider getting a UK Mains Earth Present Tester I really wouldn't recommend continuing to test with your body as the testing instrument, but does …

Ill also try the multimeter so would I just connect everything up as I had it and then touch the metal chasis of the deluge with everything and get a reading that way? Yes. Just put the two probes of the meter across the points your hands we…

The odds of the Deluge being able to generate that much amperage on battery power is tiny I think those (18650 lithium) batteries actually catch fire if you discharge them that fast, although the Deluge is supposed to have protection against…

It sounds more like static than 240v AC, as I don't think there'd be much left of the Deluge if you were somehow connecting 240v through it. This is reinforced by you saying that you got the shock off the pads. If it was a mains problem it'd be more…
