It seems a MIDI Learn Mode option for the "Active Track/Clip/Synth/Kit/Whatever-You-Want-To-Call-It"...would solve all of this. It would save enormous amounts of time creating and modifying song templates. It's been requested and postulated abou…

This very reasonable request topic has come up soooo many times over the years it's sort of silly. Sadly, through two major software releases, I've never seen a peep of acknowledgement from Synthstrom recognizing that MIDI control functionality c…

I hope they prioritize comprehensive MIDI functionality soon. It's getting sort of comical at this point. From my experience developing hardware, and especially hardware with limited UI space, it can get markedly harder to add fundamental functio…

The MIDI Learn function allows external control of most of the deluge parameters. But as far as I know the parameters don't have preset SysEx / CC outputs, nor do they output values once learned that you could record in a DAW or use for LED bargra…

Midi live looping would be great... but unless Active Track Midi CC mapping is finally added too, will not be very useful for live performance. I hope that's what "+ some other things " in the newsletter means.

Sadly, so far there's no support for bi-directional MIDI CC mapping. Fingers crossed something like that is in the works for v3.0. Active-track MIDI CC mapping would be nice too!

Cool. Thanks for the correction Should have known it was too good to be true. Though Behringer might hit a market with the DAW-less crowd if they include that function. (that one's for free) -d

Oh... sorry, just saw that you meant the X-Touch Mini ... so you'll actually need a USB MIDI host (or PC/Mac) if you want to use it with the Deluge. Here's a handy little standalone USB MIDI host/client doo-dad that I use with the Deluge when tr…

The X-Touch seems to act as both USB host and client, so yes, between USB and DIN MIDI you should be able to map all sorts of functions to the Deluge, and without a PC which is cool. I've gone down a similar road with external controllers (specif…

Great. Found that the samples had tags but they were wonky and off a few octaves in some cases. Endless WAV fixed that right up. Thanks for the pointer.

I’m pretty sure that functionality is not supported yet. I’ve got a MidiFighter Twister in a similar setup and have been wishing for two-way CC communication for pot value feedback. I’ve also big plans for when external MIDI controls can be mappe…

Any rumors or confirmation that something solving this problem will be included in v2.1? Hoping to be surprised.

@rohan Are there any plans to expose Synth / FX params to midi mapping for external automation or physical controls?
